Brain Research: Self-Confidence & Decision-Making

Here is an excellent little video I found that connects self-confidence and decision-making. Self-confidence, Professor Shiv says, makes you more engaged in the decision-making process. It makes you more eager to get things done. He concludes by saying that self-confidence is “vastly underrated.” Well-said, sir.

So there we go – I’ve been trying to explain for some time now how self-confidence and self-discipline are related, and one person argued with me that they just aren’t, but now a standard professor’s research has demonstrated my point. A lot of things have, actually, but this more directly than many.
